I still remember where I was when Kobe Bryant was drafted. It was 1996 and I was nine years old. It was the summer before 4th grade, and I had just started really watching the game. The NBA Draft was on TNT, and after the first few picks, I got bored and restless; not out of the ordinary for a grade schooler.
